Occupational therapy
Regain your independence and quality of life.
Do you experience pain, discomfort, stress, or difficult emotions to manage?
Are you having trouble participating in your daily activities – such as dressing, bathing, taking care of your home, looking after your children or a loved one, going to work or school, or engaging in meaningful leisure activities?
Do you live with a chronic illness, have recently suffered a debilitating injury, or struggle with organizing your daily life? Occupational therapy can help!
How does occupational therapy treatment work?
Our occupational therapists are university graduates, members of the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ), and are dedicated to providing you with care that is both thorough and respectful, following the best practices.
To help you achieve your goals, the occupational therapist:
-
Assesses your functional abilities in relation to your environment and activities.
-
Develops a treatment and intervention plan in collaboration with you.
-
Uses various modalities, approaches, and strategies to help you develop your functional abilities, compensate for impairments if a plateau is reached, or adapt your activities and environment according to your specific needs.
We offer a variety of occupational therapy services to better assist you:
-
At the clinic, at home, or via tele-rehabilitation, depending on the service!
